New wines at Tesco perfect for cosy evenings in and sparkling celebrations

El Jardín de Ana Godello, 12.5% abv, £10.00

A crisp and refreshing godello from Galicia, in the northwest corner of Spain. Boasting aromas of white flowers and flavours of tropical fruits, apple and pear, this dry, but fruity white pairs perfectly with seasonal roasted vegetables and salads.

Tyrrell’s Brookdale Hunter Valley Semillon, 11% abv, £15.00

From Australian producer Tyrrell’s, this delicious semillon is the ideal way to bring a little Aussie sunshine to the cold winter months. Floral on the nose, with soft fruity notes on the palate and a light finish, try it with a pan-fried seabass or delicately-spiced Asian dishes.

Gérard Bertrand Côte de Roses, 13% abv, £11.00

This iconic South African wine, from producer Boekenhoutskloof, is an exciting addition to the Tesco range and perfect for the festive season. Bold, but beautifully balanced, it’s bursting with plum, blueberry and blackberry flavours, with distinctly chocolatey notes. Try it with rich dishes like lamb tagine or smoky roasted vegetables.

Luigi Bosca Cabernet Sauvignon, 14.3% abv, £22.00

From world-renowned Argentinian producer Luigi Bosca, this premium cabernet sauvignon would be a brilliant gift for red wine lovers. Deep violet in colour with balanced aromas and flavours of red fruit and sweet spice, pair it with roast lamb or portobello mushrooms with garlic butter.

Joel Gott Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, 14.5% abv, £36.00
